The self-managed NDIS app for families

The app for self-managing your NDIS care team

Routines, handovers and care notes in one place - shared with every support worker, therapist and family member. No business software, no per-worker fees.

1 month free · No credit card required

Self-managing means you're the coordinator now

Self-managing your NDIS plan gives you control over who supports you and how. It also makes you the coordinator. Whether you're a parent running your child's plan, a partner or adult child helping someone you love, or a participant managing your own team, the same jobs land on you.

You brief every new support worker on routines they've never seen. You try to keep mornings consistent when three different people cover the week. You chase care notes by text message. And when your plan reassessment arrives, you piece together months of evidence from phone threads and memory.

Maslow is a self-managed NDIS app built for exactly this. It gives your whole team one place to see the plan, record what happened and talk to each other, so you can stop being the go-between.

Everything your team needs to know, in one place

Built for a family, not a care business: no payroll, no billing, nothing to configure. Set it up once and every person you invite sees the same plan on their own phone.

Care guides and routines

Write it once. Every new worker reads the same thing.

Build step-by-step routines and care guides with photos, videos and documents: how to transfer safely, what a good morning looks like, what to do when plans change. New workers read them before their first visit, and a printed QR code in the home opens today's plan the moment they arrive.

Check-ins and appointments

Care notes, written on the day.

Support workers complete routines and log check-ins as they go - mood, meals, mobility, medication. There's no paperwork at night. Each check-in is saved with who wrote it and when. Therapy sessions and appointments sit on the same Today screen, so everyone knows who is coming and when.

Progress and team chat

One history instead of five text threads.

Updates from workers, therapists and family go into one shared team chat, next to every check-in. Flag what's important so it doesn't get buried, and when someone new joins, the history is already there for them to read.

Invite your whole team free

You pay once per participant. Everyone who supports them joins at no extra cost:

  • Support workers you hired directly, or found through Mable, Hireup or Careseekers
  • Therapists, such as OTs, physios and speech pathologists
  • Family members, from parents and partners to grandparents and siblings
  • Your support coordinator and plan manager

One Maslow account can belong to several teams, so a support worker who helps a few families switches between them in the app instead of juggling logins.

Most care software charges for every user.

Can I pay for Maslow with my NDIS funding?

It depends on your plan. If you self-manage or are plan-managed, the 1-year access plan ($349) can be funded from your NDIS plan as Low-Cost Assistive Technology, if it meets a disability-related need in your plan. But it isn't guaranteed: it has to fit your plan's goals and the funds left in your budget, and some plan managers decline it. Check with your plan manager or support coordinator before you count on it.

How claiming usually works

  1. Try it free for a month

See how your team uses Maslow before you pay anything. It's easier to explain why it helps once you've seen it working.

  2. Check it fits your plan

Ask your plan manager or support coordinator whether Maslow fits your goals and budget. Explain what it does for your care, such as keeping routines consistent across workers.

  3. Pay and claim

If you self-manage, pay the invoice, keep a copy and submit a payment request through the my NDIS portal. If you are plan-managed, send the invoice to your plan manager.

Ready for your plan reassessment

At a plan reassessment, the NDIS looks at how your supports were used and what changed. If your records live in text messages, that's hours of digging. In Maslow, every check-in, completed routine and team update is already dated and linked to the person who logged it.

Export your progress history and bring a dated record, not memories, to your reassessment: what your team noted after each visit, who noted it, and how things changed over the plan.

  • Dated records from every visit, showing who logged them
  • Check-in answers over time, such as mood, energy and appetite
  • An export to share with your planner, LAC or support coordinator

Frequently asked questions

Can I use an app to manage my NDIS support workers?

Yes. When you self-manage, you choose the tools that work for your family. Maslow gives your support workers one place to read routines and care guides, see appointments, log check-ins after each visit and message the rest of the team. You stay in control of who joins.

Do my support workers have to pay to use Maslow?

No. You pay once per participant, and everyone on the team joins free, including support workers, therapists, family members and coordinators. There is no limit on team size.

Can I claim Maslow with self-managed NDIS funding?

Yes, if you self-manage or are plan-managed. The 1-year access plan ($349) can be funded from your NDIS plan as Low-Cost Assistive Technology, from your Core Supports budget (Consumables), if it meets a disability-related need in your plan. Your plan manager or support coordinator can help you check it fits your goals and budget.

Is this a replacement for Mable or Hireup?

No. Mable, Hireup and Careseekers help you find and book support workers. Maslow is what your team uses once they're on board: the routines, check-ins, appointments and updates that keep everyone supporting you the same way. Workers you hire through those platforms join your Maslow team free.

What happens at the end of the free trial?

Nothing is charged automatically, because we never ask for a credit card. Before your month ends, you choose to continue monthly ($30 a month) or with the 1-year access plan ($349, which can be funded from your NDIS plan as Low-Cost Assistive Technology if you self-manage or are plan-managed). There are no lock-in contracts.

Is my family's information secure, and who can see it?

Only the people on your team can see your team's information. Admins approve everyone who asks to join and can remove people at any time, for example when a worker moves on. Our privacy policy explains how we collect, store and protect your data.

Read our privacy policy

Can my plan manager or support coordinator join?

Yes, and they join free like everyone else. Your support coordinator sees routines, check-ins and updates in one place, which helps everyone prepare for plan reassessments. If you are plan-managed, your plan manager pays the Maslow invoice from your budget.
